Ann Lehmkuhler, originally from Northern Minnesota, combines a love of athletics and a passion for teaching.
She competed as a competitive swimmer and runner throughout high school and college at Gustavus Adolphus College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Elementary Education and Sociology/Anthropology and a minor in Coaching. She has taught 1st through 5th grades in her 12 years of teaching experience in Minnesota and Wyoming. She also has experience head coaching swimming at the Club and HS levels and holds a Wyoming Head Swimming Coach certificate.
She has competed as a NCAA-III swimmer, elite level triathlete, cyclist, and runner and now enjoys CrossFit.
Coaching and teaching are true labors of love for Ann and when she gets to combine that with a passion for sports, the energy and joy that she brings to Spine+Fit is beyond description.
She has trained with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT), is a Certified Functional Strength Coach, and is trained in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Kettlebell Athletics. She is also a certified nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition.
